Directions

Map_MiddleSaltsburg Borough is located on PA Route 286 where it intersects with Route 981, at the point where the Conemaugh River and Loyalhanna Creek meet to form the Kiskiminetas River at the south-west corner of Indiana County where it borders with Westmoreland County.

From Indiana: Take Route 286 West into Saltsburg. Follow Salt Street to Fox’s Pizza, and turn right on Market Street. Travel two blocks and we are on the right side of the road at Water Street. (Approximately 20 miles)

From Pittsburgh: Take the Parkway East to Route 22 East, right onto Route 286 (Golden Mile Highway) Follow Route 286 approximately 20 miles to Saltsburg (Note: Route 380 runs parallel to 286 from Plum Borough and merges with 286 one mile outside of Saltsburg). Cross the bridge over the Kiskiminetas River and turn right at the end of the bridge at the Citgo station onto Water Street. Travel two blocks and we’re on the left side at Water and Market Streets. (Approximately 30 miles)

From Greensburg: Take Route 22 East to Route 981 North at New Alexandria. At Saltsburg, cross the bridge over the Kiskiminetas River and turn right at the end of the bridge at the Citgo station onto Water Street. Travel two blocks and we’re on the left side at Water and Market Streets. (Approximately 19 miles)

If you’re coming east on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take the Monroeville exit and follow Route 22 East out of Monroeville approximately 2 miles taking the Route 286 East exit on your right. Follow 286 East straight into the borough.

If you’re coming west on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take the New Stanton exit and proceed north on Route 66 until it intersects 286. Follow 286 East straight into the borough.
